sex every day?
A married couple I know told me (and several other couples at a cocktail party) that they have sex every day... sometimes twice a day or more. They are not newly married. They've been together for more than ten years. And if one of them travels they make up for it by doubling up. The woman kept saying, "What's the big deal? Why not? It's free. It's pleasurable. It's legal. It burns calories." This confession sent a ripple of shock through the party and by the end of the night set up a neighborhood challenge. (More about that later... maybe). But I still can't stop thinking about it and I'm wondering what you all think.
Full disclosure: I posted this at the red room the other day and it seemed to really get people talking and that's why I'm cross-posting it here. Please join the discussion!

I agree with the benefits, but the plan implementation wears me out just thinking about it. Is that so wrong?
I just heard of a book call 365 Nights (?), about a couple who did that very thing. It was written by the woman.

welcome Cancer Bitch!! Yes, we discussed that book that night and my friend (who has sex every day) said, "365 days? What's the big deal?" And we were all like, are you serious?
I'd like to think I'm/we're up for it (so to speak), but sometimes I'm just tired.
To paraphrase Freud, sometimes a bed is just a bed.

Reading in bed is also pleasurable and legal- although I will admit it doesn't burn the calories. The way I figure it even things I really LOVE like chocolate chip cookies get a bit dull if I have them every day.
I always say that sex is big fat free fun.
In my previous long-term relationships the sex changed. After the first few years, we stopped schtupping every five minutes and settled into a great sex life, to be sure. But, not every day.
How long have these two been together? I think it's fabulous they still hit it twice a day. What about when they have the flu? Or she's menstruating?
Gail, I want awwwl the dish asssapy, bubbie. Spill
